Snapswipe Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Celeste Labs collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information in connection with the Snapswipe app and related services. Snapswipe is intended for a general audience in the United States. The app does not require an account to use. The primary information addressed here includes email addresses (when provided), basic usage analytics, and crash logs. This draft is provided for informational purposes and must be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before publication.

Effective Date: March 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Celeste Labs (“Celeste Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information in connection with the Snapswipe mobile application (the “App”) and our related support and web presence at https://www.myappdeck.com/snapswipe (collectively, the “Services”).

This draft is provided as a starting point and requires review and approval by qualified legal counsel to ensure compliance with applicable laws and alignment with Celeste Labs’ actual data practices.

1) Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed when you:

  1. Use the App.
  2. Contact us for support (for example, by email).
  3. Visit our website pages related to Snapswipe.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, or services that may be linked from the Services. Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies.

2) Who we are

Celeste Labs is the provider of the App.

  • Support contact: support@celestelabs.com
  • Website: https://www.myappdeck.com/snapswipe
  • Primary region: United States

3) Key points (high-level)

  1. No account required: You do not need to create an account to use Snapswipe.
  2. Information types addressed in this policy include: email address (when you choose to provide it), basic usage analytics, and crash logs.
  3. Subscriptions: If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription, billing is handled by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not collect or store your full payment card details.
  4. Deletion requests: You can email support@celestelabs.com to request deletion of your information. We aim to complete deletion within 30 days, subject to limited exceptions described below.

4) Information we collect

We process information in the following categories, depending on how you use the Services.

A) Information you provide directly

  1. Email address (support and communications)
If you contact us via email (including for support or deletion requests), you may provide your email address and any information you include in your message. We use this to respond to you and to address your request.

Because the App does not require an account, you are not required to provide an email address to use core App functionality. Email may be collected only when you choose to contact us.

B) Information collected automatically when you use the App

  1. Basic usage analytics
We collect basic usage analytics about how the App is used. This may include information such as feature usage patterns, screens viewed, and general interaction signals. This information is used to understand App performance, improve features, fix bugs, and support product decision-making.
  2. Crash logs
We collect crash logs and diagnostic information when the App experiences an error or crash. Crash logs may include device and system information, timestamps, error codes, and technical details relevant to diagnosing and fixing stability issues.

C) Subscription and purchase-related information

Snapswipe offers auto-renewing subscriptions billed through Apple. When you subscribe, Apple processes your payment and provides us with information that may help us confirm subscription status (for example, whether a subscription is active). We do not receive your full payment details from Apple.

D) Information we do not describe as collected in this questionnaire

This Privacy Policy is based on the questionnaire provided. If Celeste Labs collects additional data types in practice (for example, precise location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or persistent identifiers), this policy must be updated accordingly and reviewed by legal counsel.

5) How we use information

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

A) Provide, maintain, and improve the Services

  1. Operate the App and deliver its functionality.
  2. Monitor performance, fix bugs, and improve stability using crash logs.
  3. Understand usage trends and improve features using basic usage analytics.

B) Support and communications

  1. Respond to inquiries, support requests, and feedback.
  2. Verify and process requests you submit, including data deletion requests.

C) Subscription administration

  1. Confirm subscription status and enable subscription features where applicable.
  2. Provide support related to subscriptions and direct you to Apple’s subscription management controls where appropriate.

D) Security, safety, and legal compliance

  1. Protect against malicious, fraudulent, or unauthorized activity.
  2. Enforce this Privacy Policy and other applicable terms.
  3. Comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process.

6) Legal bases and consent (general disclosure)

Snapswipe is offered primarily in the United States. To the extent applicable, we process information for purposes such as providing the Services, improving the Services, responding to your requests, and complying with legal obligations. Where required by law, we will obtain consent for certain processing activities.

7) How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information in the following circumstances:

A) Service providers

We may share information with vendors and service providers that help us operate, maintain, support, and improve the Services (for example, providers that help process crash reports or basic analytics, or support inbox tools). These providers are permitted to process information only to perform services for us and consistent with this Privacy Policy, subject to appropriate contractual safeguards.

B) Legal, safety, and enforcement

We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is required by law or is reasonably necessary to:

  1. Comply with legal process or lawful government requests.
  2. Enforce our policies.
  3. Protect our rights, property, and safety, and the rights, property, and safety of users or others.
  4. Prevent, investigate, or address suspected fraud, security, or technical issues.

C) Business transfers

If Celeste Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

D) With your direction

We may share information when you ask us to do so or otherwise direct us to share it.

8) Third-party ads and third-party analytics

Based on the questionnaire, Snapswipe does not use third-party ads and does not use third-party analytics. If this changes, Celeste Labs must update this Privacy Policy accordingly and ensure appropriate disclosures and choices.

9) Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes, such as:

  1. Providing support and responding to requests.
  2. Maintaining the security and integrity of the Services.
  3. Debugging, troubleshooting, and improving the App.
  4. Complying with legal obligations and resolving disputes.

Retention specifics depend on the type of information:

  • A) Support emails: retained as needed to address your request and for support recordkeeping, unless deletion is requested and no exception applies.
  • B) Basic usage analytics: retained for a period that supports product improvement and troubleshooting; we may retain aggregated or de-identified analytics longer.
  • C) Crash logs: retained as needed for debugging and stability analysis; we may retain aggregated or de-identified diagnostic trends longer.

If we retain information for legal compliance or dispute resolution, it may be retained beyond typical periods as permitted or required by law.

10) Data deletion and user requests

Because the App does not require an account, requests will generally relate to information you provided directly (for example, emails you sent to support) and any associated identifiers or logs that we can reasonably link to your request.

A) How to request deletion

You can request deletion by emailing support@celestelabs.com.

B) Timing

Celeste Labs will process deletion requests within 30 days, consistent with the questionnaire, unless:

  1. We need to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations.
  2. We need to retain certain information to protect the security and integrity of the Services.
  3. The information cannot be reasonably linked to you (for example, aggregated analytics) or cannot be feasibly deleted without disproportionate effort.

C) What we may need from you

To help us locate and delete information, we may ask you for reasonable information to verify your request (for example, the email address you used to contact us, relevant dates, or screenshots of your request). We will not request your password because Snapswipe does not require an account.

11) Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12) Children’s privacy

Snapswipe is intended for a general audience. Celeste Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@celestelabs.com and we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.

13) International users

The Services are primarily intended for users in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

14) Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the Effective Date above and post the updated policy through the Services or our website. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you acknowledge the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
